John William Coltrane

I spent my morning reading, sipping on my coffee and listening to Coltrane. I will always have such a soft spot in my heart for Jazz music due to the fact that my Grandfather was such a fan, and seemed fitting with his paper boy hat and cigar. He was a man that loved his jazz.

John William Coltrane will always be the best jazz saxophonist and composer. He lived to be 40, and in 1967 sadly lost his life to a battle with liver cancer. His music lives on and still makes Wednesday mornings pleasantly calm, delightfully serene and filled with tranquility, for a girl that loves her jazz.
