Mazzy Star

Mazzy Star was one of the first artist that got me away from the pop world, and got me into the deep sounds and lyrics that I now call "real music". In the early 90's when my childhood was taking the transition from following what was "cool' and following my instincts to what sounded good and touch me in a much deeper level. Becoming musically mature. The radio hits and the kids around me no longer stood a chance or influenced me with their catchy sounds. My love for music has been influenced by my very own soul. Being true to it. Allowing it to be in me. It has become such a big part of me.
