Now You Tell Me?

Getting pregnant at the age of 18 and becoming a mother by 19 can really make you want to make sure that doesn't happen (unplanned) again. Shorty after I had EJ I got on Birth Control. I have been taking the pill for almost 13 years and have been religious about it. Tonight I had a conversation with one of my brilliant friends about attraction, and what makes you attracted to someone, and I'm not talking about looks and status or anything shallow like that, but about the smell of someone and what your raw instincts draw you to and make you want to mate with someone, like an animal. Because after all we do have those senses. My friend then asked me if I am on the pill, and of course I told him the truth. He then said this...

Normally a female is attracted to men with dissimilar genetic makeup which is perceived via odor. This serves the female to be impregnated by foreign genes which is good for the child. When a female becomes pregnant, she prefers the smell of men with similar genetic makeup such as siblings and parents. This keeps her close to family to protect her and her baby.

Birth control flips this. Women on birth control are attracted to men with similar genetic makeup. Moreover, these females on birth control are attracted to men with low levels of testosterone.

Really?!?!.....FML!!!
