Memory Lane

I posted this video a while back. I think it's perfect for the Mothers Day theme. I feel so lucky to have been able to transform these 8 millimeter films into this video. We use to watch these on an old projector in a white wall with no sound. We've come along way in 33 years, haven't we? It's a little long, because it's hard to edit out such amazing moments. I decided not to!

  1. I really love this video. That version of 'Besame', is by Los Panchos? Haven't heard 'Dime' in a long, long time. Brings back memories, memories very much like these. I enjoy reading your blog.

    Take care.

  2. Aww. Thank you much. It's hard to explain my love for my culture. I think people who have lived this culture get what these songs means to us and how they make us feel. Thank you for sharing :)

  3. Indeed. I was born in '77, and I grew up listening to songs like this thanks to mis abues and parents. I live in a completely different environment now (Finlad), and I still have that in me, to play some Javier Solis, Juan Gabriel, or I wanna play some 'European' music, I'll go with Cortez or Mocedades. Music really connects me with my culture, no matter where. Glad I came across your blog, I was looking into my old blogs and decided to browse randomly and yours popped after a while. You got me hooked now, girl :)
