True Romance

True Romance came out in 1993, and it was one of those films that quickly became one of my favorites. This movie could only come from the awesome story telling mind of  Quentin Tarantino. This cast in killer. I think every cool ass actor is in this film. Gary Oldman (who BTW is a English actor with a thick British accent) who plays a pimp with dreads, and who also quickly become of one my favorite actors. Alabama (who is played by Patricia Arquette) has one of the best wardrobes I've ever seen in a film.  You also can't go wrong with a movie that has Christopher Walken in it. Oh yeah, Brad Pitt is in it too. I mean, it's good stuff.

Don't let the title fool you, it's a back handed love story. If you're looking for a good Valentines Day movie for the weekend, but you want to eliminate the sappy shit, True Romance is your film. I recommend.

"Amid the chaos of that day, when all I could hear was the thunder of gunshots, and all I could smell was the violence in the air, I look back and am amazed that my thoughts were so clear and true, that three words went through my mind endlessly, repeating themselves like a broken record: you're so cool, you're so cool, you're so cool."- Alabama
