I'm on KRCL again. I decided to call it Vagabond radio for the fact that I just love all the different genres of music and all the different eras. I will take you on a journey.

You can download the KRCL for free and listen from your phone if you're not a SLC local.

This stuff makes me very happy. I'm very excited.

If you are sitting in the office or have access to the internet and love good music, visit my friends at KRCL. They were nice enough to do a the top 100 of 2010. I don't know how I'm going to do this all day, but I'm planning on listening as much as I can.

Lovely Words

I received a message tonight that made me giggle and cry (another thing that made me cry today). I'm so humbled by this. Ebay is the local DJ of our independent radio station, KRCL. It's the only station I like to listen to. Ebay to me is like my Professor in the school of music. I learn from him. I have established a relationship with his voice. He's actually a big part of my life, and I spend most mornings with him, hanging on his every song and word. So, for me to get this message from him is absolutely lovely. It put a big old smile on my face after this long emotional day. Serotonin refilled. Thank you Ebay.

The album is called "love is not pop"- how great is that? True that, Sister. Her BF is Lykke (One of my musical BF's)

Guess What...

I started my training with KRCL this weekend. I guess I've failed to blog about the great things that have come my way because of this very blog. That, being 2 radio gigs. One of them happens to be on my favorite radio station, that I have mentioned on this very blog.  This station is independent, so it allows the radio personalities/DJ's to play music that is not mainstream or commercial  Artist that are underrepresented in mainstream media. In other words, AMAZING radio.

Jamie. Ebay. Brad.

I'm so proud that I've been given the opportunity to be amongst these musically advanced people, that I am truly a fan of. It's like attending Juilliard, and being taught the best, by the best.

Ebay- I enjoy his music in the mornings. He is by far one of the nicest guy on the planet, and not to mention that he is training me through this whole thing. How lucky am I?

Brad- The soul man, and the one I have to thank for recommending me. Brad is legit. Thanks Brad.

Emily- I have bonded not only over music with her but she is always so kind enough to leave me comments on on this very blog, and I just adore her.

I will keep you all update as to when you can listen to me on the air. I know that I will have odd hours at times when most of you will me in dreamland. I have to get some experience and stuff. I couldn't think of a better gig than to play music, which is no secret, is one of my passions, and to get to do on the station that I'm so passionate about, is a dream. I'm beyond excited, guys!
